Woodworking Basics

This course geared towards beginning woodworkers who are interested in develovping their craft. We will discuss basic tools, diferent types of lumber, lumber movement, and how to create quality work on a budget.

Through this course you will gain knowledge to level up your woodworking. And we hope that you will agree with us that woodworking is for everyone!

The annual cutting board Competition is here! Throughout the month of November bring your cutting board by the shop and enter the contest or a chance to get a $100 gift card prize!

Entries can be brought into the store any time throughout the month of November. We will hold voting online and in-store from 12/2-12/7 before announcing our WINNERS on 12/10.

Join us for a 2-part workshop on making a flatgrain cutting board. We will be guiding everyone though the process, from selecting the perfect wood to sanding and finishing their cutting boards. Get ready to chop, slice, and dice in style with your own handmade cutting board!

Part 1 of the course includes designing the board and glueing it together. And in part 2, scheduled at your convenience and that of our woodworkers, you'll complete the process and have a finished cutting board to take home.
