Join us at the shop as Renown Woodturner Kirk DeHeer gives a talk and tutorial on Hand Thread Chasing.

From his website: "I show the tools and materials needed for hand thread chasing, along with turning a threaded box or acorn, in order to create a box with minimal runout that shows the marks of true craftsmanship."

We're back this year with our community tool sale, but with a twist! This year we are opening the sale up to woodcrafters to sell their wares too! Anyone wanting to sell used tools is still welcome, of course! It will be on Saturday, September 6, in coordination with the Tree Streets Yard Sale in Johnson City. This is a chance for you to make some cash (and space in the workshop!).

We had a great time last year, and this year is going to be even better! We will have Care's Creamery setting up inside with some homemade ice-cream and frozen treats as well as Coffee and goodies from Blue's Brews! We will be opening at 7:00 AM to make sure we catch the early yard sale crowds.
