Join us at the shop as Renown Woodturner Kirk DeHeer gives a talk and tutorial on Hand Thread Chasing.

From his website: "I show the tools and materials needed for hand thread chasing, along with turning a threaded box or acorn, in order to create a box with minimal runout that shows the marks of true craftsmanship."

A couple weeks back we had our best attended Craft Course in a while! I think anyone that came will tell you that the energy in the room was electric! Seriously, we had so much fun! Special thanks to Polly Powel for teaching the class and Terrarium Plant Store for offering us a great deal on some plants to fill these beautiful raised planters!

In addition to our larger topographical mountainscapes, we have small, less costly ones. We typically stock Roan Mountain, Buffalo, and a few others, and we are happy to make new maps too!
