In this Craft Course Conversation, we will discuss the basics of woodworking saws: their uses, techniques, and shortcomings.

This class will focus most on the miter saw, radial arm saw, bandsaw, scroll saw, circular saw, and jigsaw (we will have another Conversation specifically about table saws at a later date).

We will discuss make and model variations, proper techniques for safe operation, selecting the right saw for various materials and cuts, as well as basic maintenance.

Come on down to the shop with all your saw related questions. We hope to see you there!

Making a Cross-Cut Sled for your Table Saw

Learn how to create a custom sled for your table saw to make accurate and consistent cross-cuts. We'll be making a sled that you can take back to your shop and use on your table saw to help with all your woodworking projects!
